Overview

In this role, you partner with the sales team to validate and design technical solutions for prospects, showcasing Contentful’s capabilities and how they outperform legacy technologies. You’ll validate requirements, create demos, and support technical assessments across global accounts. You’ll bridge client needs with product and marketing, ensuring smooth implementation for new customers. This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role with opportunities to work internationally and influence customer outcomes and platform adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to support EMEA customers
  • Assist prospects in understanding Contentful capabilities and compare to legacy tech
  • Capture prospects’ requirements, validate against platform, and identify risks
  • Create product demonstrations and support technical evaluations
  • Relay customer needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales
  • Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success to ensure successful deployment and launch of projects
Key requirements
  • 3–5 years as Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect or Solution Consultant in cloud-based PaaS/SaaS (growth-oriented)
  • or 5–10 years as a developer delivering digital experiences with marketing tech platforms (CMS, Commerce, Personalisation)
  • Strong presentation skills
  • High emotional intelligence for meetings with diverse stakeholders
  • Natural curiosity about how technology drives business value
  • Experience with current web technologies (JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, CI/CD)
