You’ll work with cross-functional teams to design architectures, run technical evaluations, and facilitate value-focused workshops. You will advocate for customers and relay insights to product and engineering to shape roadmaps. - Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to map GitLab capabilities to customer needs across the lifecycle
- Own the technical evaluation process, including design of solutions, POV/POC, workshops, and involvement in tenders and audits
- Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape and execute account strategies for new and existing customers
- Build deep relationships with technical and business stakeholders to enable transformation and advocacy for GitLab
- Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, cloud practices, and ROI optimization
- Act as voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing with feedback and use cases
- Maintain and extend technical expertise in GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud tech, creating reusable guidance and collateral
- Invest in personal growth through mentoring and knowledge sharing to improve team impact
- 8+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles with solution design and evaluation responsibilities
- Experience with end-to-end SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD workflows
- Hands-on with GitLab or similar source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms
- Practical knowledge of cloud concepts and deployment/security/operations options
- Ability to lead technical evaluations (POC/POV), contribute to tenders/audits, and run workshops/value assessments
- Strong technical communication and ability to tailor messaging to practitioners and senior decision makers
- Skill in building trusted relationships and representing customer needs to internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing)
