Overview
As a Startup Solutions Architect, you help AWS customers maximize cloud value by aligning technology with startup business goals. You’ll design scalable reference architectures, educate customers, and influence AWS roadmaps with the voice of the customer. Expect cross-functional collaboration, producing technical content, and mentoring teams while focusing on startup-specific adoption patterns and strategic outcomes.

- Act as trusted advisor to startups, shaping guidance from customer priorities
- Capture customer insights to influence AWS feature roadmap and contribute to technical content
- Create or update technical content and reference architectures (white papers, code samples, blog posts)
- Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, and online media
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
- Continuously learn and innovate while engaging with customers and partners
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
- Experience in specific technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- Preferred: knowledge of SAP systems and architecture needs
- Preferred: experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking
- Preferred: experience working with end users or developer communities
