As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will lead and execute on DevOps and platform initiatives to improve reliability, release quality, and automation maturity. You will collaborate with Platform Engineers and technical leads to shape the DevOps roadmap and drive cross-functional execution. You’ll elevate cloud-native architectures, scalability, and security in CI/CD, IaC, and release processes. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on accelerating engineering velocity while ensuring robust observability and fault tolerance.
Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and reliability initiatives
- Improve IaC, CI/CD pipelines, code governance, release automation, and monitoring systems
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to influence system architecture for performance, scalability, security
- Define and standardize scalable deployment patterns and secure infrastructure practices
- Drive reliability, capacity planning, fault tolerance, and security embedded in pipelines and deployments
- Define and continuously improve release processes, branching strategies, artifact management, and environment controls
- Oversee infrastructure management in cloud/hybrid environments and champion IaC and automation-first approaches
- Shape quarterly roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable goals with Platform Engineers
- Enhance developer experience through tooling, automation, and ownership culture
- Balance operational support with strategic platform improvements
- 8+ years in Architecture, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Proven experience leading cross-team technical initiatives
- Hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP, Terraform/CloudFormation, GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI
- Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana for observability
- Strong understanding of release engineering and cloud-native architectures
- Automation and scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Experience shaping performance, scalability, and security in architectural discussions
