Overview

In this role you own and evolve the Salesforce platform across Sales, Service and Field Service Clouds within a housebuilder's technology transformation. You will collaborate with the Solutions Architect to translate designs into tested changes and mentor a small team of admins. Your focus is on delivering robust configurations, automation, and data integrity while driving process improvements. This is a growth-focused, leadership-facing role with impact on platform maturity and delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day Salesforce administration and maintenance across Sales, Service and Field Service Clouds
  • Build complex automation using Flow Builder, validation rules, and declarative tools; review Apex and Lightning Component changes when needed
  • Mentor and manage a small team of Salesforce administrators/support analysts
  • Triage and resolve complex user escalations across Salesforce and integrated systems
  • Partner with Solutions Architect to translate architecture designs into configured, tested changes
  • Manage user access, security model, profiles, permission sets and data integrity
  • Deploy platform changes following development pipeline and change control protocols
  • Maintain up-to-date system documentation and SOPs
  • Support release management and assess impact of Salesforce releases
  • Engage with external partners/vendors on delivery standards and timelines
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and technical debt reduction
Key requirements
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (essential)
  • Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder (desirable)
  • Substantial senior-level Salesforce Administration experience
  • Strong hands-on configuration skills: Flow Builder, validation rules, pages, reports & dashboards, security model
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
  • Working knowledge of Apex and Lightning Components (review/QA, not required to develop)
  • Familiarity with deployment tools such as Copado or Gearset
  • Comfort with Agile and structured change control
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across tech and non-tech
  • Experience with Salesforce managed packages is a plus
