Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer for Auth0 in UK&I, you help customers realize the value of identity security by translating business needs into technical solutions. You work across the customer lifecycle, partnering with sales to move opportunities from discovery to win. You’ll demonstrate Auth0 capabilities, tailor proofs of concept, and educate diverse stakeholders from developers to executives. You join a fast-paced team that champions secure, scalable identity to enable AI-enabled growth.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive discovery to align customer requirements with business outcomes
  • Collaborate with sales to progress opportunities from discovery to technical win
  • Deliver customized demonstrations and PoCs to validate solutions
  • Build sales presentations and product demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the Auth0 product line and underlying technologies
  • Engage in local and regional sales and marketing events
  • Empathize with customers to pinpoint true technical needs and tailor solutions
  • Provide hands-on solution validation and technical guidance throughout engagements
Key requirements
  • Experience in a pre-sales or Solutions Engineer role
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas on the fly, including whiteboard demonstrations
  • Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or pre-sales
  • Experience with at least one identity protocol (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
  • Strong development background in a backend stack (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby) and a frontend stack (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience with REST APIs and SDKs
  • Understanding of core security concerns in applications (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
  • Excellent communication and ability to convey business value
  • Ability to share knowledge with highly skilled audiences
