Senior SQL Business Data Analyst

Apply advanced SQL and financial analytics expertise as a Senior Business Data Analyst with Loblaw in a hybrid Brampton workplace. Collaborate across Finance and Technology.

The FITE team manages centralized financial analytics and reporting for Loblaw. In this senior role, you will translate Finance stakeholder needs into technology-based solutions. You will develop dashboards, reports, analytical models, and large-scale SQL queries using financial data. The position requires communication with business teams, Technology counterparts, senior leadership, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate Finance intelligence needs into strategic analytical solutions
• Develop reports, dashboards, models, and data-driven solutions
• Optimize SQL queries for extraction, transformation, and loading
• Analyze data discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Present project updates to senior leadership during meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of related experience in a similar role
• University degree or relevant post-secondary education
• Advanced SQL with joins, window functions, CTEs, and tuning
• Working knowledge of BigQuery, MS SQL Server, and Teradata
• Working knowledge of Python and relevant application tools
