Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, located in Mississauga, is a public accounting firm looking for an experienced Accountant in the non-assurance space to join their team! Reporting directly to the Managers and Senior Managers, the Staff Accountant tasks will follow:

Responsibilities

• Review and preparation of NTRs/compilation engagements
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Preparation of tax returns for both corporate and personal
• Support with investment working files
• Other ad-hoc duties are required

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience
• Very strong tax and investment knowledge and experience
• Strong technical accounting experience
• Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements

The posted salary range reflects expected compensation for this role in accordance with Ontario pay transparency requirements. Actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications and may fall anywhere within the range.
