As a Senior Staff Engineer, you own core onboarding components and shape long-term technical strategy to guide personal customers from account creation to first successful transfer. You operate at scale, balancing speed, reliability, and user delight in a high-traffic onboarding flow. You work across teams to align architecture and drive impactful, customer-facing solutions. This role offers hands-on influence on a mission to simplify money movement for millions of users.

• Design scalable onboarding architecture to support rapid growth while preserving performance
• Define cross-team technical contracts and integration points with Marketing, FinCrime, and KYC
• Own end-to-end onboarding journeys from account creation to first successful transfer
• Lead initiatives for system health, latency reduction, and cost efficiency
• Set technical vision, mentor engineers, and drive alignment across multiple teams

• Production-proven backend expertise with Java (or similar OOP language) and microservices
• Experience building and scaling distributed, high-throughput systems
• Ability to own and design fundamental components or core infrastructure
• Technical leadership with vision and mentoring capability
• Product and customer mindset with awareness of impact on user experience
