Senior System Engineer – UK, Cambridge – 2 Year Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Cambridge.

What you’ll deliver:

• Define and manage system requirements across Hardware, Embedded Software, RF, Integration and Cloud-based IoT solutions.
• Lead multidisciplinary systems engineering activities throughout product discovery, development, testing, and delivery phases.
• Support system architecture, communication protocols, technical investigations, proof-of-concept activities, and field testing.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Embedded, Backend and Integration teams to validate, troubleshoot and deliver connected device products.

What you’ll need:

• Extensive experience in Systems Engineering within complex multidisciplinary products.
• Strong understanding of IoT, connected devices, embedded systems and end-to-end system architecture.
• Experience with RF communication technologies such as BLE, Wi‑Fi, LTE‑M and LoRa.
• Knowledge of Linux, Python/C/C#/Java, Cloud IoT platforms and Agile development environments.
