Senior System Integration Engineer – Cambridge, UK – 2 Year Contract – Life Sciences

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting‑edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Senior System Integration Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Cambridge.

What you’ll deliver:

• Define detailed test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for complex IoT and connected device products.
• Design, build and maintain physical test environments and integration setups for hardware, firmware, and software validation.
• Execute manual and system‑level testing, analyse results, and provide detailed reporting of findings.
• Lead technical investigations and troubleshooting activities across embedded systems, electronics, RF communications, and cloud‑connected solutions.

What you’ll need:

• BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Extensive experience in multidisciplinary system integration involving Hardware, Firmware and Software.
• Strong experience creating test plans, test procedures, and test design documentation.
• Experience debugging complex embedded systems and investigating root causes of system failures.
