Overview

In this role you will support and partner with portfolio managers and research analysts to maximize the value of an in-house research and portfolio analysis platform. You will be a trusted advisor to investment professionals, helping translate business processes into effective system usage while solving incidents and improving functionality. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced, global environment. You will contribute to system testing, end-user training, and opportunities to optimize investment workflows, aligning technology with client-focused goals.

Responsibilities
  • Interact directly with investment professionals to serve as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations and Investment teams to understand business processes and system usage
  • Answer functional/technical questions using process and system knowledge
  • Manage production incidents: escalate, identify root cause, and prioritize fixes by risk/ROI
  • Provide adhoc analysis and information delivery solutions
  • Test new system functionality, deliver end-user training, and support system changes
  • Identify improvements to support investment processes
  • Proactively identify issues and opportunities in investment workflows
Key requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in an application support environment in financial services
  • Experience with investment data concepts (holdings, transactions, security master, analytics, performance)
  • Understanding of equities, bonds, derivatives, FX instruments
  • Hands-on SQL with data extraction and troubleshooting
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills in investment management systems and data technologies
  • Experience working directly with investment professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and quality delivery
  • Ability to work independently and in a global team in a fast-paced setting
