Senior Systems Analyst Application Development

Apply acute technical skills to systems development and sustainment with Canadian Natural in Calgary, supporting oil sands information systems.

As a Systems Analyst, you will support the Upgrading and Utilities Information Systems team. The role covers application design, testing, troubleshooting, and technical direction. You will contribute to applications, interfaces, reports, and data across the oil sands business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate throughout the application development lifecycle
• Design application components and physical data structures
• Configure in-house and vendor applications for customer needs
• Maintain application, report, and integration development practices
• Troubleshoot applications and guide developers and developer analysts

Requirements:

• Eight-plus years of Systems Analyst and development experience
• Post-secondary computer sciences degree or diploma
• Business-critical application and infrastructure support experience
• Application server and web server management experience
• Oracle and SQL Server administration and troubleshooting skills

Support reliable oil sands applications through systems analysis, application development, database expertise, and technical issue resolution.
