Overview
In this Systems Engineering role at AECOM Warrington, you’ll apply MBSE and SysML to define interfaces and optimise performance for nuclear, MoD and security-critical projects. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk, produce technical documentation, and grow the engineering capability within a multidisciplinary team. - Identify systems, sub-systems and SSC interfaces and relationships
- Analyse requirements and designs to optimise system performance
- Model and mitigate risk by analyzing system behaviour
- Collaborate with client technical and non-technical teams on-site and remotely
- Author and review technical documentation and processes
- Apply SE best practices to grow the Systems Engineering capability within the team
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering, V-model and lifecycle processes
- Degree in STEM or demonstrable engineering experience
- Chartered Engineer or on track for charter with an institute
- SC clearance or ability to meet SC requirements
- Experience in highly regulated industries (Defence, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear)
- Experience in writing and reviewing high-quality technical documentation
- Knowledge of SE practices and tools (SEBoK, INCOSE, NASA System Engineering, DOORS)
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Collaborative, able to liaise with engineers across disciplines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
