Overview

In this role you lead technical projects within the Fusion and Modular Nuclear unit, coordinating design interfaces and refining architectures to support safe, compliant delivery. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop concepts, optioneering, and verification planning, elevating MBSE practices. You drive robust planning by assessing design risk and coordinating artefacts, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries. This opportunity lets you shape nuclear engineering programs and contribute to cutting-edge fusion initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate creation of critical artefacts (operations concepts, architectures, requirements, verification planning)
  • Conduct optioneering assessments and design risk assessments (safety and CDM)
  • Support integrated technical management by managing risks and refining design configurations
  • Respond promptly to technical queries and enable swift resolution
  • Liaise with all disciplines for unified design coordination
  • Apply advanced systems engineering practices and MBSE approaches
  • Report progress and provide resource-level recommendations to the Project Lead Engineer (Systems and Integration)
