Senior Systems Engineer

In this role you will own onboard avionics for an orbital-class launch system, serving as the technical focal point across avionics and vehicle systems. You will collaborate with systems engineering, GNC, propulsion, software, and ground support to deliver reliable flight hardware. You’ll influence architecture, interfaces, and verification across the full lifecycle, driving integration and testing in a high‑reliability setting. • Lead avionics system design and integration activities
• Define interfaces between onboard electronics, vehicle subsystems, and ground systems
• Support system architecture, requirements definition, and verification activities
• Manage technical schedules, development priorities, and engineering coordination
• Contribute to hardware/software trade studies and technical decision-making
• Support testing, troubleshooting, installation, and validation of electronic systems
• Work cross-functionally across multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Degree qualified in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
• 5+ years of experience within avionics, embedded systems, electronics, or complex systems engineering
• Strong background in integration, testing, or development of electronic systems
• Experience in high-reliability industries such as space, aerospace, defence, automotive, or similar
• Understanding of systems engineering principles, interfaces, and V&V activities
• Previous technical leadership or project ownership experience
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and support hardware integration activities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
