Senior Systems Engineer

In this role, you will lead rail systems engineering within the Systems Engineering and Safety Assurance team, shaping definitions and architectures for railway projects. You’ll guide technical requirements and ensure safety and interoperability across the project lifecycle. You’ll act as a senior technical resource, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs for public and private sector clients. • Develop system engineering plans, definitions, requirements, and architectures
• Oversee management of technical requirements using DOORS and ComplyPro
• Deliver systems engineering processes aligned with customer requirements
• Evaluate interrelationships between system requirements and design
• Create scope of works and act as senior technical resource for the team
• Provide specialized input to studies and design in own area of expertise
• Develop procedures to enable high-quality, cost-effective work by others
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary reviews and develop cost estimates

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Chartered Engineer
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in railway systems safety and assurance, including safety and interoperability
• Knowledge of UK Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations
