As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the development of electrical power generation, distribution and propulsion systems for next‑generation aircraft. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary team within Safran Electrical & Power to drive system concepts, architecture, and verification from concept to certification. You will coordinate requirements, risk mitigation, and customer interfaces to deliver safe, compliant, and high‑performance solutions. - Lead systems engineering work packages, ensuring delivery to schedule, budget, quality and standards
- Define and manage system requirements with customers and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop system architectures and perform performance analyses and trade studies
- Oversee subsystem development and ensure requirements flow‑down and implementation
- Lead verification, validation and compliance activities across the lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership and act as primary customer interface for system development and performance decisions
- Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Aerospace, Systems or related) or equivalent experience
- Experience across full systems engineering lifecycle (design, integration, V&V) in electrical power generation, distribution or propulsion
- Experience with aircraft systems or complex safety‑critical products
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles across product lifecycle
- Ability to capture and translate needs into clear technical requirements and build stakeholder relationships
- Experience leading technical reviews, workshops and customer meetings in aerospace
- Knowledge of system architecture definition, decomposition, requirements management, integration, V&V planning and execution
- Experience using Windchill requirements management tools (advantageous)
- Familiarity with ARP4754 aerospace standards (desirable)
