- Apply Agile Systems Engineering per the SEMP to Thunder Mission System and payload development
- Support design teams in evolving TPMs throughout the design lifecycle
- Contribute to SDRs and governance reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, SRB) for Systems Engineering
- Own Functional Decomposition, SBS, PBS, and architecture diagrams
- Develop SDDs and ICDs as core design artefacts
- Champion TEMP to mature Mission System and Payloads
- Shape hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and hardware-in-the-loop testing environments
- Create issue workflows and manage ticket triage and artefact closure
- Coordinate configuration and change management processes
- Support System Safety and Airworthiness efforts and flight/test activities with PCA and verification tasks
- BEng/BSc/MEng in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience in Defence/Aerospace with safety-critical hardware/software focus
- Proven ability to capture requirements from customers and collaborate with design teams
- Experience producing traditional and right-sized SE artefacts and V&V plans
- Deep understanding of test & evaluation for developmental, acceptance, and operational testing
- Experience with crewed or uncrewed developmental autonomous aircraft (Group 5 UAS or larger)
- Proficient in coordinating change management processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present artefacts effectively
- Eligible for active UKSV Security Clearance
