As a Senior Systems Engineer at Leidos, you will deliver end-to-end systems engineering across complex UK Air Traffic Management programmes. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, users, suppliers and architects to define requirements, build MBSE models, and produce artefacts that drive integrated, compliant solutions. You’ll evaluate trade-offs, support design decisions, and apply COTS and bespoke technologies to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role combines technical depth with cross-functional teamwork in a mission-driven environment.

- Deliver systems engineering activities across complex programmes
- Define and manage system requirements with stakeholders and suppliers
- Develop models, designs, and architecture artefacts using MBSE approaches
- Support compliance activities, technical reviews, and project milestones
- Produce engineering documentation, designs, and technical analyses
- Conduct trade studies and solution evaluations
- Contribute to integrated solutions using COTS and bespoke technologies
- Experience with systems engineering in complex environments
- Knowledge of architecture modelling tools/frameworks such as SysML, TOGAF, MODAF, ArchiMate, Cameo or similar
- Ability to develop requirements, system models, and design artefacts
- Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience assessing technical solutions and supporting design decisions
- Understanding of service-oriented, virtualised, or cloud-based environments
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
