Overview
In this role you will drive the design, delivery and continuous improvement of IT services within the University, focusing on secure, high-quality Microsoft 365 platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into deliverable IT solutions aligned with the University's architecture and digital transformation goals. You will lead technical discussions, provide expert consultancy, and ensure smooth handover to operations through proper testing and documentation. This is a chance to shape IT services that enhance student experience and research impact in a dynamic campus environment.

- Lead and act as a subject matter expert for IT systems, especially Microsoft 365 (EntraID, Exchange, OneDrive)
- Capture and translate business requirements into testable IT solutions aligned with the University's architecture
- Provide technical consultancy and third-line support for IT systems and services
- Oversee Go-Live activities, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer for smooth operational transition
- Coordinate with Procurement on tender activities and contribute to technical evaluation
- Manage incidents, problems and service requests, documenting workarounds and resolutions
- Support the University’s digital transformation efforts to improve student experience and research impact
