Morson Edge is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join an innovative team developing advanced Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) systems supporting the Royal Canadian Navy and its partners.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex engineering projects and contribute to cutting-edge naval defence technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering activities throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Define and manage system and subsystem requirements.

• Oversee system design, integration, verification, and validation (IV&V).

• Conduct trade studies, technical reviews, and risk assessments.

• Manage engineering work packages, schedules, and technical deliverables.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and stakeholders.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering , or a related discipline.

• 6+ years of systems engineering experience , ideally within naval defence or complex engineering environments.

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and methodologies.

• Experience with EMI/EMC, MIL-STD requirements, and environmental qualification is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of sonar systems, naval applications, cybersecurity, safety systems, or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is an asset.

• Experience with DOORS, UML tools, ERP systems, and configuration management tools .

• Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance .
