Overview
In this role you will drive infrastructure automation and modern IT service delivery as part of the University’s digital transformation. You will work within the IT team to ensure secure, high-quality services and effective implementation of new technologies. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to design, test, and transition automated IT solutions into operations. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at a prestigious institution with room to influence architecture and delivery at scale.

- Act as an infrastructure automation SME, guiding design, development and implementation with internal teams and external suppliers
- Provide technical consultancy and 3rd line support for IT systems and services
- Lead Go-Live activities and ensure testing, documentation and knowledge transfer are completed
- Contribute to tender processes by detailing technical requirements and evaluating bids
- Manage incidents, problems and service requests, developing effective workarounds and resolutions
- Collaborate across the University to support digital transformation, student experience and research impact
- Experience in infrastructure automation with focus on enterprise IT services
- Knowledge of Entra, Office365, Active Directory and Okta workflows
- Ability to provide technical consultancy and 3rd line support
- Experience with project go-live, change processes and documentation
- Experience coordinating with procurement for tender exercises
