Innovatus Technology Consulting is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to support our enterprise systems and infrastructure environment. This fully remote role focuses on managing a mix of Red Hat and Windows servers, supporting security and compliance efforts, and helping other teams with technical needs.
You’ll need an active Secret clearance (or higher) and solid hands-on experience with Linux system administration, performance monitoring, and compliance work.
Help guide technical priorities and day-to-day work for the systems environment.
Administer and maintain approximately 34 servers (mostly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with a few Windows servers).
Track, renew, and install PKI certificates on web servers and Oracle applications.
Monitor system resources (OS and mid-tier) and help plan expansions when needed.
Keep an eye on system performance at both the OS and AWS levels.
Work with the data center on SLDCADA-related issues involving network, systems, security, or user access.
Provide technical support to the Dev, Customer Support, and Database teams as needed.
Support additional projects involving partners such as USAGM, NIS, and DISA.
Help with application vulnerability remediation and support tools like Control-M, Track-It, and EWM/RTC.
Active Secret clearance (or higher)
Strong hands-on skills with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Windows experience is a plus)
Experience monitoring performance and capacity in both on-prem and AWS environments
This is a remote role focused on solid technical work with some coordination across teams.
