Overview

In this role you will drive systems engineering for new product introductions in semiconductor equipment. You will translate product vision into clear requirements and architectures using MBSE, and lead integration, verification and validation activities to meet quality, cost and schedule targets. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, traceable verification plans and robust documentation. This position offers the chance to shape next‑generation equipment in a regulated, technology‑driven environment and to contribute to Edwards’ mission in advanced manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Translate product vision into clear requirements and use cases using systems engineering methods
  • Develop functional, logical and behavioural architectures with MBSE
  • Lead Integration, Verification and Validation activities across projects
  • Develop robust IV&V plans for products and sub-assemblies
  • Verify and test designs against requirements and standards (calculation, simulation, or physical testing)
  • Maintain timely, traceable documentation of verification and testing
  • Ensure quality and cost goals are met within the task time scale
  • Report concisely to engineers, project manager and wider project team
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Systems Engineering (minimum)
  • 3+ years' experience in Systems Engineering or IV&V in a related industry
  • Desirable: Masters in Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • Desirable: INCOSE/ISO15288 knowledge
  • Desirable: working knowledge of regulatory/compliance standards in semiconductor equipment (e.g., EN 61511, SEMI S2, Semi S10)
  • Desirable: understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Essential: integrity, results‑driven mindset, accountability
