Senior Systems & Network Administrator - 100% remote

My name is Marian, Director at FED IT, a recruitment firm specializing in IT roles.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions.
All of our recruitment consultants are IT specialists who understand your language and operate within your industry. We recruit across IT, software development, business intelligence/data, and infrastructure roles.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Systems & Network Administrator for a position offering the possibility of being 100% remote.

You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, security, and evolution of systems infrastructure, both in day-to-day operations and as part of various projects.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure the proper operation, availability, and reliability of systems including Azure, VMware, Windows, Citrix, Cisco UCS, and Nimble SAN;
Install, configure, and maintain system infrastructure software, including physical and virtual servers;
Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and backups;
Troubleshoot connectivity issues, system errors, and hardware failures;
Manage systems, servers, and access permissions;
Plan, document, and execute procedures required for IT operations;
Ensure security standards are applied across the infrastructure and contribute to their ongoing evolution;
Monitor and follow up on service alerts;
Ensure that all systems have appropriate data backup processes in place;
Participate in development projects when required;
Perform any other duties related to the position or requested by the immediate supervisor.

Your profile:
10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years as a Systems Administrator;
Advanced skills in infrastructure, security, networking, and system hardening;
Candidates must demonstrate strong expertise in at least one of the following three areas, in addition to having a solid overall understanding of IT infrastructure:
Endpoint Management: Intune, SCCM, Windows 11, Autopilot, GPO, application packaging and deployment, PowerShell, patch management, endpoint security, and advanced troubleshooting;
Servers & Cloud: Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware/Hyper-V, Azure, DNS/DHCP, storage, backups, etc.;
Networking with functional systems knowledge: switching, routing, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, SD-WAN, network security, monitoring, and network troubleshooting;
Excellent customer service and communication skills;
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities;
Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently;
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
Strong awareness of security and IT disaster recovery planning;
High standards of ethics and integrity.
