Filed is building the first AI tax preparer trusted by Americas accounting firms.
Filed takes on that surrounding work, from the moment client documents arrive to the plan a firm hands back, so tax professionals can spend their time on judgment, advice and the client relationship.
Filed works inside the software firms already use (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, Drake and ProConnect) across individual, business, trust and exempt organization returns. Were backed by Northzone, Neo, Raine and Day One Ventures.

As an AI Tax Engineer, youd join that team. Your judgment ends up in a platform used by firms across the country, instead of staying inside one practice.
We think the profession deserves better than the busywork that has grown up around it, and that the people doing this work should spend their time on the parts that need their expertise. The role is new, and youll help define it.

Your expertise shapes a platform used by firms across the country.
Youll see how dozens of firms run their practices, and help raise the standard for all of them.
Tax expertise drives product decisions here. Youll help move the profession toward more advisory work and less busywork, from inside the company building what comes next.
Can explain a technical tax position clearly to people outside tax.
Being a tax expert at the center of how Filed works, alongside our team of CPAs, and setting the standard for quality across everything we ship.
Partnering with product and engineering to decide what we build next, from document intake through to tax planning.
Working closely with customer firms, understanding how they run their practices, and turning that into product direction.
Comfortable across individual and business returns, including partnerships and K-1s.
Clear writing. Much of your influence will happen in documents and comments.
Youll work directly with leadership and help shape how Fileds tax team is built.
