Overview

As a Senior Technical Implementation Consultant, you will implement ONESOURCE Indirect Tax solutions within SAP environments, collaborating with project teams and subject matter experts. You’ll translate business requirements into robust integration designs and lead tax-enabled SAP deployments across ERP, eCommerce, and POS interfaces. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance requirements are met and deliver end-to-end integration solutions. This role offers exposure to diverse industries and business models, with a focus on shaping scalable tax integration implementations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop complex ABAP objects independently
  • Lead requirements sessions and translate findings into design and documentation
  • Analyze and deliver SAP integration implementations aligned with tax requirements
  • Collaborate with Thomson Reuters teams to deliver end-to-end indirect tax integration
  • Explain ONESOURCE SAP integration issues to non-tax/technical staff
  • Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for SAP
  • Manage work within a controlled project management environment
  • Support pre-sales activities for prospect engagement and bid development
  • Collaborate with functional and technical colleagues to ensure successful implementations
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP implementation, including SAP
  • 3+ years of SAP experience
  • ABAP programming capabilities
  • Experience with APIs, web services (SOAP/REST) and XML
  • Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution with SAP and add-ons
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process analysis, and gap analysis
  • Hands-on SAP application experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
