Overview

In this role you lead holistic engineering management for a healthcare-focused site, driving asset performance and lifecycle planning. You will build and maintain asset data, support energy and Net Carbon Zero initiatives, and ensure compliance and evidence-based change. You collaborate with sustainability and operations to optimise facilities and delivery of capital works. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position at The Royal London, enabling safer, more efficient and better-heated spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Review operational asset performance data to validate lifecycle plans and healthy capital works pipeline
  • Develop and maintain asset databases, condition-based plans and care strategies
  • Analyse asset performance and collaborate with sustainability teams on energy management and Net Carbon Zero planning
  • Review compliance status and action plans to prioritise risk reduction
  • Drive development of software, hardware, and data-centric solutions to improve practices and enable organisational change
  • Provide guidance to the holistic Technical Management for mechanical package delivery and attend contractual meetings to evidence SLAs and KPIs
Key requirements
  • B-ENG/C-ENG in applicable engineering field
  • Logical problem solving
  • Ability to adapt and develop business processes and communicate changes to operational teams
  • Experience producing, analysing engineering data and reports
  • Experience integrating with peer groups and influencing stakeholders
  • Competence with MS Office packages
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Influence and collaboration across teams
