Senior Technical Manager

In this role you will lead the technical function for a large 1,500-unit residential development in Southall, shaping the design through construction and delivery. You will coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and specialists while managing technical risks to keep the programme on track. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with development, commercial and construction teams to deliver a safe, compliant scheme. This is a high-responsibility position in a growing residential business with significant scope to influence outcomes.

• Oversee design development, approvals and information release from current stage to delivery
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors
• Collaborate with development, commercial and construction teams
• Manage technical risks and resolve design issues to protect delivery timelines

• Provide technical leadership across multiple phases and buildings
• Mentor and develop junior technical team members

• Senior Technical Manager/Technical Manager with strong residential development experience
• Experience with developer/client or Tier 1/2 main contractor
• Extensive experience on large-scale, multi-phase residential schemes
• Solid understanding of RC frame construction and design management
• Proven ability to manage consultants and coordinate complex design information
• BSR/Building Safety Act experience would be advantageous
• Ability to operate at a senior level and own the technical function
