Senior Technical Specialist

In this role you will configure, deploy and continuously improve Field Management software to meet operational needs across the Area 14 road network. You’ll translate business requirements into technical solutions, build forms and workflows, and develop BI dashboards to turn field data into actionable insights. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders and end-users to drive a data-driven culture and measurable delivery improvements. The position supports expansion of the regional program and requires regular travel to project sites.

• Translate business requirements into system configuration, tailored forms, workflows, and templates.
• Manage end-to-end deployment and user provisioning for new teams or clients.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and triage tickets.
• Maintain API connections and data pipelines between Field Management software and external systems.
• Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for staff and operatives.
• Build and manage BI dashboards, KPI trackers and automated reports.
• Handle platform maintenance, upgrades, and testing of new features.
• Assist with user access control and security compliance.

• Experience configuring field management or similar software.
• Strong form-building, workflow configuration, formulas, and conditional logic skills.
• Experience developing in Fabric with Power BI dashboards (data modelling, Power Query, DAX).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
