As Technical Specialist at SSE, you will own and evolve critical Asset Management platforms (Maximo and ArcGIS) and related integrations to ensure secure, reliable, and future-ready systems. You will drive upgrades, roadmaps, and cross-functional collaboration to translate business needs into practical solutions, while managing risks and performance. Your work supports SSE’s IT-driven delivery in the energy transition, balancing operational excellence with secure, scalable platforms. • Own and enhance Asset Management apps (Maximo, ArcGIS) to ensure reliability and security
• Lead upgrades, integrations, and technical changes with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Maintain and communicate application roadmaps, dependencies, risks and investment priorities
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical, sustainable solutions
• Improve service performance, manage licences, coordinate disaster recovery, and oversee full lifecycle
• Provide Asset Management expertise, governance and security compliance, and evolve platform strategy
• Bridge technical and business teams to align priorities and deliver value
• Drive incident management, root cause analysis and performance optimisation

• Experience managing, supporting or developing enterprise applications with Maximo and ArcGIS expertise
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience delivering integrations, technical changes or digital transformation in complex environments
