Senior Technical Test Analyst

In this Senior Technical Test Analyst role, you will drive high-quality outcomes for complex programmes within Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security portfolio. You’ll apply deep testing expertise across system and integration levels, guiding best practices and mentoring peers. The role involves shaping test plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering robust test coverage in a on-site heavy environment. • Contribute to Test Plan and Test Approach documents aligned with the Test Strategy
• Analyse requirements and design artefacts to derive detailed test cases with expected results
• Coordinate with Development and Engineering teams to support testing across levels
• Manage test cases, defects and test execution using agreed test management tools
• Create and manage test data, environments and prerequisites for complex scenarios
• Produce test metrics, support defect resolution and escalate risks affecting quality or delivery

• Strong technical testing background with system and integration testing experience
• Good understanding of Active Directory Forests, SQL, ITSM toolsets and software monitoring tools
• Experience testing integrations between complex systems
• Ability to analyse complex requirements and translate into effective test coverage
• Proactive, outcome-driven approach with strong analytical thinking
• Confident mentoring others and sharing testing best practices within a team
