Position: Senior Technology Architect

Location: Remote (Client based in Ottawa)

Background: Our Public Sector client requires a Senior Technology Architect to design and deliver secure, enterprise‑level access solutions focusing on enabling seamless and secure connectivity. The resource will lead the conceptual and technical design, define integration strategies, and ensure compliance with departmental governance and internal processes, while addressing complex security and interoperability requirements critical to maintaining operational continuity during migration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Technology Architect
• Experience with the public sector, preferably GoC.
• Active Secret Clearance (Absolute must have)
• Experience working on projects in large environments (clients with 2000+ employees) affecting 70% of the organization or more.
• Experience developing IT architectures, Concept of Operations, frameworks and strategies, and integration solutions for the public sector.

Expected Tasks

• Providing risk assessments and service level exposure reports to management on systems which employ legacy (over 10 years old) technologies.
• Developing technical architectures, frameworks, and strategies to support business applications in their objectives of meeting business and functional requirements.
• Analyzing, evaluating, and documenting alternative technology and application solutions to meet business requirements.
• Architecting, planning, and coordinating the migration of multiple application workloads, using multiple infrastructure hardware/software platforms and technologies, coordinated across multiple infrastructure service line organizations to a major cloud offering.
