Senior Technology Architect - Azure Integration Services - UK

Overview

In this role, you will design and govern enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services to connect on-premises, cloud, and SaaS systems. You will implement scalable, secure, and reusable integrations aligned with enterprise architecture, focusing on cost efficiency and performance. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive cloud integration modernization and governance across complex landscapes. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that shapes integration strategies and delivery at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver AIS-based integration architectures connecting LOB systems (on-premises and cloud)
  • Configure AIS environments, gateways, ExpressRoute, and resource groups
  • Establish governance, standards, and best practices for iPaaS solutions
  • Define designs emphasizing runtime efficiency, cost optimization, and Azure pricing
  • Work with Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Developer Tools
  • Apply architectural patterns with performance, database, and functional design in Azure
  • Hands-on work with Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Data Factory, Databricks
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD including ARM/Bicep and Terraform provisioning
  • Configure monitoring with Application Insights, Log Analytics, Alerts, and Dashboards
  • Work with transformation tech like Liquid templates and XSLT for data manipulation
  • Design and build integrations via APIs, batch processes, and flat-file exchanges
  • Integrate core business apps across on-premises and SaaS platforms
  • Lead data mapping and transformation to canonical formats
Key requirements
  • Experience with enterprise integration and Azure Integration Services
  • Experience with hybrid integration programs (BizTalk-to-AIS, MuleSoft-to-AIS)
  • Strong client-facing consulting and architecture governance experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale cloud integration and modernization programs
