Overview
As Senior Telemetry Support Analyst you will lead third-line telemetry and OT support, ensuring high availability and secure, up-to-date systems. You’ll act as a subject matter expert and drive improvements across telemetry infrastructure. The role blends operational support with project delivery, mentoring colleagues, and shaping telemetry strategy in partnership with IT and business stakeholders. You will work to keep critical infrastructure resilient while enabling service excellence for customers.

- Lead third-line support for telemetry infrastructure and services to ensure high availability and compliance
- Act as SME for telemetry infrastructure and applications (e.g., Sample Manager and in-house systems)
- Manage and resolve complex telemetry/OT incidents from detection to resolution
- Own OT/telemetry ticket queues with proper prioritisation and timely resolution
- Drive first-line resolution where possible and lead investigations into complex issues
- Patching, maintenance and upgrades of OT/telemetry systems for security and supportability
- Identify and initiate upgrade projects or schemes for system improvements
- Plan, budget, resource and deliver IT/OT capital projects
- Ensure change governance processes are followed for OT projects
- Monitor telemetry and OT systems for faults and trends, and preempt service issues
- Develop and maintain support plans, docs and procedures for new systems
- Document incidents and fault resolutions for knowledge sharing
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship to Telemetry teams
- Contribute to telemetry business plans and future service direction
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure telemetry/OT systems meet operational needs
- Experience supporting and maintaining telemetry services and critical operational systems
- Strong knowledge of SCADA within OT environments
- Ability to read and interpret SQL scripts for troubleshooting
- Experience leading and embedding technical and organizational change
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles
- Knowledge of TOGAF and/or ITIL practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring and developing technical capability in a team
