Senior Test Automation Developer

Build automated test solutions with Playwright and C# as a Systems Developer supporting HOOPP’s Pension Core Team in Toronto or London.

With 5+ years in software development, test automation, or quality engineering, you will improve quality engineering capabilities for HOOPP’s frontline pension platform. Use Playwright, Node.js, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines to create maintainable testing solutions. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and testing partners to strengthen release readiness and reliable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enhance Playwright, C#, and Node.js test frameworks
• Develop functional, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and regression tests
• Analyze risks and requirements to determine test coverage
• Troubleshoot environments, integrations, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Support defect triage, release validation, and production investigations

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software development, test automation, or quality engineering
• Strong Playwright and object-oriented programming experience
• Strong SQL skills for analysis, validation, and test data
• Understanding of test design, risk-based testing, and automation patterns
• Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience
