Overview
In this role, you will drive quality across mission-critical, real-time systems within the Avigilon Alta Video team. You will shape AI quality benchmarks and design scalable automated testing frameworks to cover UI, API, and backend layers. You will apply performance testing expertise to ensure high-velocity, reliable releases. This position offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to influence the software lifecycle through modern automation and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to public safety and enterprise security by ensuring quality of cutting-edge solutions
- Evolve AI quality strategy with continuous quality benchmarks for AI and real-time systems
- Architect and scale automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and backend validation
- Lead performance engineering initiatives using tools like k6 to test high-performance real-time systems
- Drive automation initiatives across Mobile (iOS/Android) and Web platforms in collaboration with engineers
Key requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in modern programming languages and strong architectural insight for engineering standards
- Ability to architect, develop, and scale automated testing frameworks across UI, API, and backend
- Experience building, securing, and refining CI/CD infrastructure for automated software lifecycles
- Proven expertise in performance engineering using k6 for load, stress, and spike testing
- Advanced diagnostic skills for complex system failures and preventative measures
