Senior Test Consultant

In this role you lead and grow the testing capability, shaping testing strategies and delivery across projects. You mentor staff, expand Planit’s profile through networking, and oversee both onshore and offshore teams. You’ll craft test strategies and estimates, ensuring successful project outcomes. This position offers impact through improving testing practices, client relationships, and delivery quality in a software-focused environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive testing excellence and business development.

• Coach, appraise and mentor staff
• Raise profile through networking and industry events
• Write test strategies and test plans
• Provide resource utilisation estimates for projects
• Manage and deliver successful projects
• Oversee teams on and/or offshore

• At least 10 years’ testing experience
• 4 years’ experience leading and managing large testing teams
• Experience in client/account management and/or business development
• Expertise in at least one testing tool
• Experience across multiple industry domains
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Project management experience preferred
