Overview

As Senior Test Engineer you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of project-specific test programs to meet international and customer standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, assemble, test, and validate complex hardware, software, and mechanical systems. The role focuses on improving test methods and equipment while guiding junior engineers and technicians. You will contribute to a mission-driven company accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy by delivering rigorous testing and reliable validation. Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, coordination and execution of project-specific test programs to international or customer standards
  • Report progress, risks and issues to the project team through meetings and written/verbal updates
  • Assemble, troubleshoot and test products (software, hardware, mechanics)
  • Liaise with cross-functional departments to resolve technical and operational issues
  • Design, construct, and maintain test equipment
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement of test methods and equipment
  • Assist development engineers with product analysis (e.g., FMEAs, design reviews)
  • Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers
Key requirements
  • Experience in a test environment
  • Develop test programs to validate system and product requirements
  • Understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition systems (sensors, signal measurement, sampling, test setups)
  • Ability to design and build test systems from defined requirements
  • Knowledge of core electrical engineering principles (voltage, current, resistance, power, basic circuit behavior)
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation (test procedures, reports, results summaries)
