In this Senior Test Engineer role, you will help ensure software quality across Raytheon UK's cyber and defence projects. You will work within an agile, cross-functional team to implement automated testing and robust test plans, shaping delivery for mission-critical systems. You’ll apply test methodologies across Linux/Windows environments, contributing to continuous integration and effective risk assessment. This opportunity combines hands-on testing with shaping testing strategy in a high-impact, security-focused context.

- Apply testing expertise within an Agile software delivery team
- Create and maintain automated test frameworks
- Define and manage test environments, data, and tools
- Support estimation and planning of test activities
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and raise defects
- Produce test and deployment strategies and plans in line with customer guidelines
- Contribute to test documentation and test scripts (manual and automated)
- Ensure alignment of testing with lifecycle processes and customer requirements
- Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps delivery model
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with scripting languages for automation
- Experience producing test plans and reports
- Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and related test methodologies/tools
- Hold eDV clearance (required)
- Desirable: AWS and/or Azure
- Desirable: Continuous Integration
- Desirable: deploying and configuring complex software under Linux/Windows
- Desirable: monitoring, logging, performance testing techniques
