Senior Test Engineer

In this Senior Test Engineer role, you’ll generate test evidence across prototype, qualification, and in-service phases for next‑generation aerospace nacelle actuation. You will plan, prepare, execute, and report tests, ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements. You’ll collaborate with a multi‑national team and external partners to support design, test, and production activities. This position offers exposure to advanced electro‑mechanical actuation technology within a new Wolverhampton facility, with opportunities to influence engineering strategy and future business opportunities.

• Plan and execute prototype and qualification testing from definition to reporting
• Prepare test definitions and procedures based on customer requirements
• Generate and issue qualification/prototype test documentation
• Set up and commission test rigs and equipment
• Coordinate off-site testing and manage external test facilities
• Analyse test data, report outcomes, and support failure investigations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive test activities
• Support development of engineering strategy and technology roadmap

• Degree-level qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or relevant experience
• Demonstrated development/test engineering experience
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical actuation and sensors
• Experience supporting failure investigations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
