Senior Test Lead Toronto

Lead quality assurance for complex enterprise solutions as a Senior Test Lead, working fully onsite in downtown Toronto five days weekly.

This contract role oversees end-to-end testing within a government environment. You will define strategies, lead manual and automated testing, manage defects, and assess release readiness. Success requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, schedules, and completion reports
• Lead functional, integration, regression, accessibility, security, and acceptance testing
• Oversee manual and automated testing across interfaces, APIs, and databases
• Coordinate test environments, data, tools, resources, and schedules
• Communicate quality risks and release readiness recommendations

Requirements:

• Experience leading end-to-end testing for complex digital solutions
• Strong test strategy, planning, scripting, and reporting experience
• Hands-on knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across business and technical stakeholders
• Strong defect management, traceability, coverage, and quality reporting skills
