Overview

In this role, you will shape and implement scalable TestOps practices for hybrid cloud environments, focusing on robust test automation, quality gates in CI/CD, and resiliency testing for large-scale Java-based migrations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pipelines and improve delivery speed while boosting software resilience. Your work will involve extending contract testing, chaos engineering, and cloud-focused QA infrastructure initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to drive reliable, scalable testing in cloud migrations.

Responsibilities
  • Design and extend test automation frameworks and microservices contract testing for Java apps migrating to the cloud
  • Integrate automated tests and enforce quality gates within CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement resiliency and fault Injection practices using AWS Fault Injection Service
  • Develop chaos engineering and post-trade frameworks for infrastructure reliability
  • Migrate QA infrastructure from ATLAS to cloud platforms to enhance scalability
  • Collaborate with development, QA and DevOps teams for test automation and pipeline alignment
  • Monitor testing metrics and optimize processes for continuous quality improvement
  • Contribute to TestOps strategy to speed delivery and improve software resilience
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in test automation and TestOps infrastructure integration
  • Strong Java knowledge for building automation frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with contract testing tools (PACT or Microcks)
  • Proficiency with AWS Fault Injection Service and resiliency testing
  • Experience with Cucumber and BDD principles
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integration and pipeline quality gates
  • Knowledge of chaos engineering concepts and infrastructure pipeline integration
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with soak and performance testing
  • Familiarity with advanced contract testing frameworks or service virtualization
  • Background in monitoring and reporting practices for test pipelines
