Senior Trading Systems Engineer

Overview
In this role you will design, deploy and support low-latency trading systems for a leading prop trading house. You will work with traders, developers and exchanges to build a production environment that is fast, reliable and scalable. You will automate processes, monitor complex systems, and mentor junior engineers. You will leverage Linux/Unix administration and scripting to maintain high-performance infrastructure and support third-party trading applications. This role offers a hands-on tech-focused environment with strong compensation and opportunities to impact global markets.
Responsibilities- Deploy and support third-party trading applications and high-performance infrastructure
- Systems administration and maintenance
- Automate processes and monitor complex systems
- Coordinate with exchanges and clearing firms to troubleshoot issues
- Mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with traders and developers to design and deploy production environments
- Scripting ability in Python, Perl, or Shell
