12-month renewable contract with a major financial institution in Montreal: VB.NET and C#.NET applications, REST and SOAP APIs. At least ten years of experience, hybrid with 2 days on site.

We are looking for a senior .NET developer, equally comfortable in VB.NET and C#.NET, for a major financial institution based in Montreal. The applications are live in production and evolve regularly.

What you will do

  • Maintain and extend VB.NET and C#.NET applications
  • Design and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP/WCF services
  • Handle the SQL layer, testing and releases through Azure DevOps
  • Deliver in an agile setup with the existing team

What we are looking for

  • At least 10 years in a similar role
  • Production experience with VB.NET and C#.NET, Git, SQL
  • CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps
  • Professional French and English
  • Downtown Montreal, hybrid, 2 days a week on site
  • Freelance or permanent Abbeal employee, your choice
