Senior Verification and Validation Engineer

In this role you will support verification, validation and integration across the systems engineering lifecycle to deliver complex, high-integrity defence solutions. You will plan and execute testing, produce procedures and documentation, and support acceptance against requirements. You will participate in reviews and risk assessments and work with cross-functional engineers to resolve issues, while helping to improve V&V processes. This opportunity offers UK citizenship with SC clearance eligibility and a hybrid working setup in South West London.
Responsibilities- Verification, validation and integration activities across the systems engineering lifecycle
- Plan and support system and hardware testing
- Produce test procedures, verification documentation and test reports
- Support integration and acceptance against system and customer requirements
- Participate in technical and design reviews, test readiness reviews and risk assessments
- Work closely with systems, software and hardware engineers to resolve technical issues
- Support continuous improvement of V&V and test processes
- Experience delivering V&V activities across the engineering or systems lifecycle
- Experience of integration, testing and acceptance of complex systems
- Ability to develop and execute test procedures and produce technical documentation
- Understanding of requirements management and traceability, ideally using DOORS
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles and structured V&V methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- Experience working with complex hardware, electrical and/or software systems
- Experience in defence, aerospace, security or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous
- UK citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain SC security clearance
