Senior Verification Engineer
role on a
12 month contract
based in
Derby
(hybrid - 3 days working on site, 2 days working remote per week). Key Responsibilities Lead Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification across the entire product and programme life cycle. Integrate with and provide coaching, guidance, and training to engineers from other functions. Develop verification strategies, verification plans, and product development plans. Develop certification / qualification strategies to satisfy external regulatory bodies. Create clearance / acceptance documentation that meets the demands of the project. Compile and deliver compliance / substantiation evidence for customers and external regulatory bodies (EG EASA/FAA) Required Experience
Be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject and with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls). Have relevant domain experience (Aerospace, Defence, Naval or other highly regulated sectors). Knowledge of gas turbines and associated regulatory requirements and processes would be particularly beneficial. Possess excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Be able to contribute effectively in a team environment, collaborating across different engineering disciplines and externally.
