In this role you lead high-impact, end-to-end software delivery in a security-conscious, scalable system environment. You’ll mentor and align engineering teams with product and business goals, driving architecture modernization and observability. Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop inclusive, high-performing engineering teams; define objectives, coach talent, and participate in governance reviews
  • Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical software—from requirements and architecture to deployment, monitoring, and reliability
  • Raise engineering standards: enforce best practices across code, testing, microservices/APIs, performance, and infrastructure; promote secure by design
  • Collaborate with product, design, and operations to shape architecture modernization and integrations
  • Translate product strategy into technical plans and drive delivery aligns with company pillars
Key requirements
  • Proven leadership of software engineering teams in distributed systems and agile environments
  • Hands-on AI development using modern tools and integration of AI into products
  • Strong Java (Spring) expertise and architectural patterns for scalable, observable systems
  • Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, TDD, and DevOps culture
  • Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and private cloud; familiarity with telemetry tools
  • Talent development experience including hiring, coaching, and performance management
  • Understanding of business domain and ability to translate strategy into delivery plans
  • Corporate Actions domain experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular; Spring Framework and API/platform design preferred
  • Background in financial services, risk and controls, and regulated environments preferred
