This position is located in our New York, NY office on a hybrid work schedule; three (3) days in office depending on business needs.Job Overview:The ideal candidate for this position is a detail focused leader and self starter who is comfortable working on a lean, highly productive development team. As a Haymarket Senior Applications/Services Developer you are a hands-on individual who is motivated by the combination of good object oriented design with high performance microservice programming to build smart extensible, reusable, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of solid Web API and data centric application experience, and can bring to the table architectural and design ideas.This role's scope includes building and maintaining several important and high visibility services and applications, including: identity/access management, data-intensive internal applications, middleware connecting various 3rd parties and SaaS products, and specialized APIs serving targeted business and operational needs.You will need to be a great communicator and team player helping to bridge the gap between product, business requirements, technical constraints. You keep an eye on performance and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends to understand how they could be applied here at Haymarket.
